OCTOBER 3, 2008, FRIDAY, MASKOM MULTI-MEDIA NEWSROOM.

* Call time is 5:30 pm, the screening officially starts at 6:00 pm.

NO LIMIT TO THE REPRESENTATIVES PER PROGRAM. 12 finalists will be chosen.

(Representatives should already be made up -make up and outfit done- upon arrival at the venue.

Candidate req'ts:

Dress code: semi-formal (skirt, dress, slacks -> no miniskirts, jeans and sneakers; dresses can be slightly above the knee as long as presentable); at least a 2-inch high heel

Not particular with skin color

At least 5'2 in height

With make-up (Don't overdo, make it almost natural)

Academic req't/standing: No grade of 5, ever; no 4th years allowed unless still about to enrol in A.Y. 2009-2010;

allowed only ONE assistant inside the venue

Screening process:

On the spot, exclusive panel-like interview, where contestants are called in one by one

The interview runs for about 10 minutes per representative

Flow:
Representatives are made to sign in upon arrival and proceed to the Radio Lab, and wait for their turn to be called inside the panel room (TV Lab)

Order of calling is by random

Criteria for Judging:

Beauty 30%

initial impression : 10%
appeal (charm, charisma, etc) : 10%
physique (body proportion) : 10%

Brains 50%

articulateness : 10%
relevance of opinions 25%
content of answers 15%

Presentation of One's Self 20%

poise and grace 4%
confidence 4%
how well her outfit and make-up suits her 3%
personality 9%
